Waterproofing Restoration

This project involved comprehensive exterior façade waterproofing to address areas vulnerable to water infiltration and weather-related deterioration. Work was performed from an elevated aerial work platform to provide safe access to the building envelope and difficult-to-reach façade conditions.

The scope included surface preparation, removal of deteriorated and failed sealants/coatings, treatment of cracks and joints, and application of waterproofing materials at critical transitions and façade interfaces. Particular attention was given to areas around window and wall openings, horizontal façade bands, parapets, ledges, coping conditions, and connections between different building materials.

Existing surfaces were properly cleaned and prepared before waterproofing applications to promote adhesion and long-term performance. Joints and vulnerable transitions were sealed to create a continuous weather-resistant barrier, helping prevent moisture penetration behind the façade and protecting the underlying masonry and wall assembly.

The completed waterproofing work provides improved water resistance, weather protection, and durability, while helping extend the service life of the building façade and reduce the potential for future moisture-related deterioration.
