Façade Restoration, Waterproofing & Window Lintel Replacement

This façade restoration project involved comprehensive masonry repairs and waterproofing to address deteriorated areas around the building’s window openings and exterior façade. Work included the removal of deteriorated brick and mortar, preparation of affected areas, and replacement of damaged bricks to restore the façade’s structural integrity and appearance.

The project also included window lintel replacement and repair, with deteriorated steel lintels exposed, cleaned, treated, and replaced or reinforced as required. Temporary wood shoring was installed at window openings where necessary during the restoration process. New masonry was carefully installed around the lintels and window frames to provide proper support and maintain the existing façade profile.

Waterproofing work was performed at the window heads, lintels, masonry joints, and other vulnerable façade transitions to help prevent water infiltration and protect the newly restored areas. Damaged mortar joints were removed and repointed, with particular attention given to areas showing cracking, separation, and deterioration.
